HONESDALE, PA — I owned a Beauty shop salon in White Lake, NY for 27 years. I loved doing hair and the clients. We purchased some Poly Furniture, and I realized how fantastic this product was and that I had to become a dealer. We have a piece of property on the busy Route 6 in Honesdale, PA, so we made it happen. We created the outdoor furniture space. I was working Monday - Thursday at the Salon and then Friday - Sunday at the Honesdale lot selling the Outdoor Poly Furniture. The schedule was getting too overwhelming. It was time to give up doing hair and go all in with the Poly Furniture business. Four years ago, I became a dealer. I wasn’t sure of a name for the business. Here in Honesdale, we have other businesses such as A&A Auto - B&B Dodge - C&C Lounge. My first name is Liane, and my fiance and the property owner’s last name is Levy. We came up with L&L Outdoor Visions. Outdoor Visions so I can add other items rather than just furniture. I carry umbrellas, wooden coffee tables and wooden bowls, animal figurines, pictures, rugs, fire pits and outdoor heaters. I also sell Old Hickory sheds on the same property. We bought one of our sheds and used it for an office. I had all the furniture outside with colored stone and mulch pathways throughout for 2 years. We then bought the joining piece of property which was the old Napa building and created a 2000 square foot indoor showroom. We are entering our second season in the new spot.
